Clay target shooting is the most recent shooting discipline to be introduced into the MCC Target Shooting Section.
MCC Clay Target Club members are able to practice at Frankston Australian Clay Target Club in Carrum Downs and we will occasionally host competitions there.Range days are also held approximately every four weeks at a variety of other shooting ranges around Melbourne and country Victoria. ACTA, Field and Game and Vintagers are all catered for.
We also field teams in the Victorian Clay Target Association South East zone ‘Down the line’ competition.
The club is particularly interested in the promotion of the sport to juniors, and coaching is available for novices as well as for the more experienced shooters. Our members include past Olympians and Australian representative shooters across various principles.
