Nikhi Wagstaff

Nikhi stands side-by-side with the Magpie Army. At Friday night games, Nikhi can be found trying to weave her way to snag prime viewing position at the Frank Grey Smith Bar.

During day matches, she likes retiring to the Members Dining Room for half-time scones. Nikhi works at King & Wood Mallesons, where she practices as a lawyer specialising in real estate investment and development.

Sam Jewell

Sam joined the Young Members Committee in 2014, and has been an MCC member since 2008.

He enjoys regularly attending the young members function nights and supporting his beloved Bombers. When he's not supporting the red and black, Sam works as a financial planner at Rising Tide Financial Services and specialises in providing tailored advice to Gen X and Y clients.

Sam looks forward to assisting the Young Members Committee in developing the events offered to all young members.

Simon Ainger

Simon has been an MCC member since 2005, He enjoys watching his beloved Tigers at the MCG during the winter and is a keen follower of the cricket in the summer months.

He has always had a passion for sport, participating in a wide variety of sports for many years. He now enjoys watching elite level sport played at the greatest sporting venue in the world.

Simon joined the Young Members Committee in 2016 and brings financial management expertise from his role at a mid-tier accounting firm providing professional services to private businesses.

He looks forward to contributing to the ongoing success of the functions held and establish new and exciting ways for members to connect with the club.

Tristan Dwyer

As a Geelong-boy at heart, Tristan's happiest when he's on the balcony watching "the greatest team of all", preferably beating Hawthorn.

Tristan brings experience from sitting on multiple prominent committees over the past 10 years. Professionally, he works as a corporate affairs and government relations practitioner, where he's advised a range of industry leaders in Australia and throughout Asia and currently works in the banking sector.

Tristan is delighted to be part of the Young Members as an avenue for people to come together to have fun and learn.

Irene Bourke
Social media co-ordinator

Irene has been an MCC member since 2004, the majority of this time as a country member attending cricket, football and a variety of events that led to making some great friends within the club and an inspiration to get further involved.

Now residing in Melbourne as a marketing manager in retail/asset management, Irene brings a strong background of strategy, marketing and communications to the committee.

A passionate Collingwood supporter who is used to Colliwobble heartbreak, Irene is often seen enjoying the game at the Frank Grey Smith Bar.

Irene looks forward to assisting with the development of the variety of events for all MCC young members.

Ben Tucker

After becoming an MCC member in 2005, Ben has loved attending the MCC facilities ever since cheering on his beloved Bombers.

After working for various organisations in sales, Ben has found himself working at Richmond Football Club and spending most weekends working at the 'G. Needless to say, Dreamtime at the G’ is the biggest event on his calendar.

Ben joined the Young Members Committee in mid-2017 with the hope of further strengthening our events, as well as helping to keep our younger members as engaged as possible.

If he’s not busy working at a Tigers game, you’re likely to find Ben in the Frank Grey Smith Bar, which he claims is one of Melbourne’s best bars.

Alice Tovey
Committee member

Alice, speech pathologist and avid Melbourne fan, joined the Young Members Committee in 2017 and has been an MCC member since 2004.

As primarily a regional member, Alice has enjoyed many weekend games watching the Dees from the members' balcony on warm days, and from Frank Grey Smith Bar when the wind has picked up. Now based in the city, Alice is very much looking forward to taking advantage of her close proximity to the 'G.

Working in Allied Health, Alice brings a passion for connecting people and communities. Alice is thrilled to be part of the Young Members Committee and looks forward to supporting other young members engage with their club.

Jordan Mayer
Committee member

Jordan became an MCC member in 2008, and has subsequently attended an estimated 200+ events. He enjoys supporting the Bombers on the odd occasion that they play at the MCG, but will attend almost any game as a neutral. During the AFL season, he will often go missing for months at a time.

Outside of the MCG and during the week, Jordan is an economics and transactions consultant in EY’s Infrastructure Advisory practice. Jordan provides advice to government, private and not-for-profit organisations across multiple areas including human services, social impact bonds, outcomes-based funding, international trade and many more.

Jordan looks forward to combining his passion for the club and financial and economic skillset to deliver the best outcomes and experiences for the MCC Young Members.

Jeremy Bottomley
Committee member

Having only become a member in 2013, Jeremy has had the privilege of enjoying all the club has to offer for the past 20 years. Barracking for Essendon in the winter and Australia in the summer you can you usually find Jeremy perched on one of the long room couches or enjoying a pizza at Tower 6. He doesn't mind who is playing and will often be seen at neutral games enjoying all the club has to offer.

Outside of the MCC Jeremy enjoys the country life residing in Castlemaine working for Jellis Craig real estate. Having spent the last 13 years living and working in the city it has been a nice change of pace heading home.

Jeremy looks forward to working alongside the Young Members committee bringing a wealth of experience in sales and customer service all while hoping to improve the enjoyment of other young members within the club.
