Sam Jewell
Chair

Sam joined the Young Members Committee in 2014, and has been an MCC member since 2008.

He enjoys regularly attending the young members function nights and supporting his beloved Bombers. When he's not supporting the red and black, Sam works as a financial planner at Rising Tide Financial Services and specialises in providing tailored advice to Gen X and Y clients.

Sam looks forward to assisting the Young Members Committee in developing the events offered to all young members.

Jordan Mayer
Co-Vice Chair

Jordan became an MCC member in 2008, and has subsequently attended an estimated 200+ events. He enjoys supporting the Bombers on the odd occasion that they play at the MCG, but will attend almost any game as a neutral. During the AFL season, he will often go missing for months at a time.

Outside of the MCG and during the week, Jordan is a Senior Analyst for Australian Unity. Jordan invests in, and manages, assets in the social infrastructure class including specifically in seniors living, student accommodation, precincts and build to rent.

Jordan looks forward to combining his passion for the club and financial and economic skillset to deliver the best outcomes and experiences for the MCC Young Members.

Sean Bourke
Co-Vice Chair/Social Media Coordinator

Sean has been a MCC member since 2016 and joined the Young Members Committee in 2021. He thoroughly enjoys watching his beloved Pies at the MCG during winter, and will regularly attend other fixtures as a neutral fan of the game. During the summer, Sean is one to never miss out on a Boxing Day Test.

In his professional life, Sean has a graduate position with Coles Liquor and brings logistics experience from previous roles to the Committee. When not at the Frank Grey, Sean enjoys playing local footy, playing golf with mates as well as getting to the beach as much as he can.

Sean looks forward to contributing to the ongoing success of all MCC Young Member functions and establishing new and exciting ways for young members to make the most out of the Club.

Hayley Coates
Social Media Coordinator

Born into a family of one-eyed Pies supporters, Hayley has been a MCC member since 2004 and is a regular throughout both the footy and cricket seasons. Hayley joined the MCC Young Members Committee in 2021.

Originally from Bendigo, Hayley has previously lived in London before making the move to Melbourne which allows her to make the most out of her MCC membership. Hayley enjoys attending as many Collingwood games and MCC Young Member events as she can.

Professionally, Hayley is a dedicated school teacher working locally in the Richmond area. Hayley is enthusiastic about the expansion of the Young Members and is excited to implement some fresh and innovative ideas to benefit the wider MCC Young Members community.

Harrison Cook
Treasurer

Harrison has been a member of the MCC since 2008 and a Young Members Committee member since 2022. Growing up in Bowral in country NSW meant flying down for the footy and the cricket was always a special occasion, having attended every Anzac Day match since 2009.

Since moving down to Melbourne in 2020, Harrison attended every round possible in 2021, even though he only saw his Swans play once. Sharing his MCC experience is important, Harrison always brings friends every weekend to watch a game, no matter who is playing. Outside of sport, he has attended multiple Young Member events, particularly liking the gin and beer evenings.

Harrison comes from a hospitality and business background, with a Masters in International Relations, and is currently working for a pharmaceutical company. He looks forward to bringing his knowledge and passion for food and drink to the Committee and making a positive impact on the ongoing success of the Committees’ events.

Jordan Smith
Co-Secretary

Jordan has been a MCC member since 2015 and has been an ardent fourth-generation Richmond supporter since his first introductions to our great game of AFL.

Thanking his grandparents, who had placed him on the MCC waiting list shortly after his birth, he has seen the MCC be utilised as a key platform to celebrate sports, and fundamentally promote wonderful initiatives that bring people together.

Separate to the MCC, Jordan works in Investment Management, has worked in New York and has completed post-graduate studies in Applied Finance. He is a musician and advocates leading a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Jordan is committed to making valuable contributions to the strategic objectives of the Committee and to develop the existing network for the betterment of the Club.

Kate Elkington
Co-Secretary

Kate has been a member of the MCC since 2014 and joined the committee in 2022. Whilst Kate is a devoted St Kilda supporter, she will regularly attend the MCG, with her most devastating memory being the 2010 AFL Grand Final replay.

Professionally, Kate has worked in the Commercial Real Estate Industry for 10 years, with a background in property valuations and more recently as an Asset Manager at Growthpoint Properties Australia. Kate is currently also a member of the Property Council of Australia’s Future Directions Committee.

Kate brings prior experience of membership-based organisations to the Young Members' Committee and is excited to provide our members with a range of engaging opportunities and events.

Emma Hume
Recruitment

Emma has been a member of the MCC since 2013 and joined the Committee in 2022. Originally from Adelaide and raised as a Port Adelaide supporter, Emma migrated to Melbourne in 2021 where she has adopted Collingwood as her ‘Melbourne team’. During the AFL season you will usually find her with a glass of red in hand at the Frank Grey Smith, and in the summer she enjoys returning to Adelaide for the Adelaide Test Match.

Outside of the MCC, Emma works in Human Resources at Deloitte, having previously worked in the UK for the Financial Ombudsman. She is super social and loves to get outdoors, whether it be in a beer garden with friends, at the beach, or dabbling in extremely amateur golf.

Emma is excited to bring the MCC Young Members' Committee new talent, and some new exciting events leveraging our partnerships and networks.

Madelaine Coles
Committee Member

Madelaine has been an MCC member since 2012. Ever since she can remember she has spent Saturday afternoons at the MCG supporting her beloved Collingwood Football Club and is forever indebted to her father for putting her down at birth.

As an experienced professional, Madelaine works as a Governance Analyst for the AICD consulting to a diverse range of boards throughout Australia. Developing an extensive career in management, governance, and regulatory compliance - all while chairing a family consulting business.

Madelaine aims to bring good governance practices to the Committee, significant event management experience, commercial acumen, and her innovative flair to further develop the mission and goals of the MCC Young Members' Committee.

Alex Hondromatidis
Committee Member

Alex has been an MCC member since 2007, is a Life Member of the MCC Baseball Section, and has played College Baseball in New York.

A passionate Richmond supporter, Alex’s greatest memory of the MCG was witnessing Richmond’s drought breaking Premiership in 2017, celebrating the win with his family.

Aside from attending what he calls the ‘G as “his second home,” Alex is a Business and Sport professional in the commercial space having worked across AFL clubs and AFL House.

Having been involved in multiple MCC Sporting Sections, Alex will use his experience to help grow the awareness of the Young Members community.
