The Club looks forward to welcoming members into the Reserve for the 2025 AFL Finals Series.
Unlike the AFL Premiership Season, AFL Finals Series matches are not designated a match category, but rather have unique arrangements determined on a match-by-match basis based on expected demand from members and visitors.
Below outlines the access entitlements for each category of membership for the AFL Finals Series and key arrangements for the upcoming matches. For details on AFL Grand Final arrangements,
Once each week's fixture is confirmed, arrangements and details including on-sale dates, visitor ticket entitlements and dining and pass registration periods will be communicated to members via email and
listed here.
AFL Finals Series Access Entitlements
Full member arrangements
Full members who have paid their membership fees for the 2025/26 season can access the Members’ Reserve for all matches of the AFL Finals Series, including the AFL Grand Final.
The AFL Grand Final has special arrangements that differ to regular matches in the Reserve. Full members can find all
important information on the AFL Grand Final arrangements here.
50-Year Member arrangements
50-Year members who have paid their membership fees for the 2025/26 season can access the Members’ Reserve for all matches of the AFL Finals Series, including the AFL Grand Final.
For weeks 1-3 of the AFL Finals Series, 50-Year members can obtain a seat for themselves and one guest in the 50-Year member section (N42) on match day, subject to capacity. These can be pre-booked online via Ticketek, or obtained on match day from the John Landy Room upon arrival. Depending on the anticipated demand, access to the John Landy Room may be restricted to 50-Year members only (no guests). No visitor tickets can be obtained for the AFL Grand Final.
For access to the Members’ Reserve, you and your guest can use the dedicated 50-Year member entry, located at the left-hand side of Gate 2.
Further information on 50-Year member arrangements for the AFL Finals Series can be found below.
For AFL Grand Final arrangements, click here.
A reminder that 50-Year Social members are unable to access the AFL Finals Series, including the AFL Grand Final.
Restricted member arrangements
Restricted members who have paid their membership fees for the 2025/26 season can access the Members’ Reserve for all matches of the AFL Finals Series,
excluding the AFL Grand Final.
Should Restricted members be granted access to the AFL Grand Final, the information will be published
here.
Provisional member arrangements
Unless otherwise advised by the Club, Provisional members do not have access to the Members’ Reserve for the AFL Finals Series.
Should the Club decide that expected attendance will allow Provisional members to access the Reserve, the
2025 AFL Finals Series Fixture webpage will be updated with this information. Details will also be available via the MCC App and MCC social media channels.
Overseas member arrangements
Overseas members will need to provide an itinerary showing their arrival and departure from Australia, as well as being required to pay an admission fee to attend all AFL Finals Series matches. Full details can be found at
mcc.org.au/overseas.
Overseas members are subject to the same AFL Finals Series and AFL Grand Final arrangements based on their membership category as listed above - 50-Year, Full Restricted or Provisional.
Members' Reserve Operations
For weeks 1-3 of the AFL Finals Series, the Members' Reserve will operate with a combination of unreserved and reserved seating. The map available in the
AFL Finals Series Guide outlines the locations of reserved seating, unreserved seating, the 50-Year member section and alcohol-free section.
Following the conclusion of the last match of the AFL Premiership Season and each week of the AFL Finals Series, the Club will determine arrangements for the next round of matches and advise members via Club communication channels, generally on the Sunday evening or Monday depending on the fixture.
Details such as ticket on-sale dates and times, dining and passes arrangements, visitor ticket allowances, seat ticket distribution and Provisional member access may change for each match based on expected demand.
Members with access entitlements can choose between purchasing reserved seats via
Ticketek prior to the match, or accessing unreserved seating on the day.
We encourage members to ensure their details are up to date on their membership profile and check their emails, MCC social media channels and the MCC website for updates throughout the AFL Finals Series.
All AFL Finals Series fixture details and member arrangements will be outlined on the
MCC website here.
Please note: if you have previously unsubscribed from receiving email or SMS updates from the Club, you will not receive Finals information directly via these channels. If you believe you may have unsubscribed from Club email or SMS communications by mistake, please contact us via
www.mcc.org.au/support. To update your details, visit
www.mcc.org.au/account/update-profile.
Only members who have paid their fees for the 2025/26 membership season, beginning September 1 2025, will be able to access the Members' Reserve for the AFL Finals Series. Members who have not yet paid their renewal will not be able to access tickets via Ticketek or scan their membership card at the Gate 2 turnstiles.
If your membership category has been elevated for the 2025/26 season (moving from Provisional membership to Restricted membership or Restricted membership to Full membership), please ensure that you are using your new membership card and barcode number to access tickets and scan in at Gate 2. Your old membership card and barcode number will be invalid and will not permit entry.
Member-Only Sections
After reviewing feedback from members, the Club is pleased to introduce Member-Only areas during weeks 1-3 of the AFL Finals Series on Levels 1 and 4 of the Members' Reserve.
Members will be able to pre-purchase reserved seats in these Member-Only areas via Ticketek when tickets go on sale.
Member-Only Areas:
- Level 1: Section M47-M49 (rows AA-NN)
- Level 4: Section Q47-Q48 (rows A-J)
Ticket Returns
If you have pre-purchased a reserved seat or visitor ticket and can no longer attend the match, you can return your ticket for a refund via the Ticketek App.
Ticket returns close
one hour prior to Gate 2 opening for each match. For more information and instructions, visit
www.mcc.org.au.returns.
50-Year member arrangements
Entry to the Members' Reserve
As a 50-Year member, you will be able to enter the Members’ Reserve with one guest during the AFL Finals Series via the exclusive 50-Year members’ entrance, located on the left hand side of Gate 2. Doors will open at the listed gate opening time.
This entry will be strictly monitored and your one guest will only be permitted to access this queue if you are present.
Reserved seats
You can purchase reserved seating within the exclusive 50-Year member section or other areas of the Members’ Reserve for matches played at the MCG via
Ticketek, subject to availability and capacity.
The number of visitor tickets permitted per member will be confirmed depending on the anticipated demand for each match.
On-sale times will be confirmed as each week’s schedule is confirmed, and will be communicated via email and listed
here.
Unreserved seats
You will be able to access limited unreserved seating in the 50-Year members bay (N42) or the general unreserved seating in the Reserve. Should capacity in the 50-Year members’ section be reached, you will still be able to obtain a seat elsewhere in the Reserve, subject to capacity.
To access the unreserved seating in section N42, please proceed to the John Landy Room once gates open and see our staff member in the room to obtain a seat ticket for you and your guests for the match, subject to capacity. For certain matches, access to unreserved seating in N42 may be available for members only.
Accessible seating and companion cards
Reserved seating for mobility-impaired patrons, including wheelchair spaces and carers (with a companion card) are available to redeem online via
Ticketek, by calling 1300 136 961 or in-person at the Club.
Further details on accessible tickets can be found here.
Accessible seating is available on Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Members' Reserve. We encourage members to pre-book these spaces during the 2025 AFL Finals Series. However, unreserved spaces will also be available on match day on a first-come, first-served basis.
Companions attending on a government issued companion card (of either a member or a visitor) receive free entry to the Reserve when a companion ticket has been redeemed via Ticketek – for more details visit
companioncard.vic.gov.au.
MEMBERS’ DINING ARRANGEMENTS
Access to the Members’ Dining Room, Jim Stynes Grill, Missymu by Shirley, Committee Room by Grossi and 1956 restaurant will be confirmed as the AFL Finals Series progresses. Visit the
AFL Finals Series Fixture page for details.
Membership expectations and Code of Conduct
Members and guests in the MCC Reserve are expected to observe a standard of behaviour that is socially acceptable and in keeping with the standards befitting the Club, guided by the MCC Code of Conduct.
A reminder to members that your membership card is strictly not transferable under any circumstances. The Club will conduct random identity checks throughout the AFL Finals Series and members found breaching the Rules could face a hefty suspension or expulsion under the Club’s disciplinary process.
The MCC Code of Conduct and MCC Penalty Guide can be viewed at
mcc.org.au/codeofconduct.
Dress standards
When visiting the Members' Reserve there are certain dress standards that members and their guests must follow.
The dress standards will be enforced in the Members' Reserve at all matches during the AFL Finals Series, so to avoid any delay at the turnstiles, please ensure that your attire, and that of your guests, is appropriate. Notwithstanding the outlined dress standards, management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person considered not suitably attired.
