The MCG will host the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) Melbourne derby as part of a revamped WBBL schedule with the ninth edition of the competition to get underway in October.
For the first time in WBBL history, the MCG will host Melbourne Stars vs Melbourne Renegades as a stand-alone regular season match on Saturday November 25.The opening game will be played on Thursday October 19 in Sydney, with an action-packed 45 days culminating with the Final on Saturday December 2.
The WBBL Melbourne derby comes before a total of four Big Bash League matches scheduled at the MCG across December and January.
