MCC Members’ Tour: The 153rd Open Championship and Ireland Highlights 2025

The Melbourne Cricket Club is pleased to announce the opportunity for members to embark on a unique travel experience to The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland in 2025.

The Club invites members to join us from July 15 to August 7, 2025 to witness golf’s oldest major at the stunning coastal course of Royal Portrush on the Causeway Coast north of Belfast.

Get immersed in the excitement of The Open as the world’s best golfers compete to take home the Claret Jug, in what is only the third time the championship has been contested outside of mainland Great Britain.

After The Open, journey through the rolling hills of the Irish countryside and explore the history, stunning scenery and culture, with stops including the Giants Causeway, Blarney Castle, Galway and Dublin.

Then, enjoy three nights in London as we conclude our trip with a tour of London, and of course the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The 20-night tour includes flights and accommodation, tickets to The Open and sightseeing around Ireland and London with fellow MCC members.
