Domestic Reciprocal Clubs

Members from the following clubs have restricted entry entitlements to the MCC Members' Reserve for AFL events:
  • Victorian Racing Club (VRC)
  • Melbourne Racing Club (MRC)
  • Centre Wing (Marvel Stadium)

Interstate Reciprocal Clubs

Full members from the following interstate clubs have restricted entry entitlements to the MCC Members' Reserve for AFL events:
  • Accor Stadium
  • Cricket Tasmania (Blundstone Arena)
  • Queensland Cricketers Club
  • Gabba
  • Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)
  • West Australian Cricket Association (WACA Ground)
  • South Australian Cricket Association (Adelaide Oval)

Members of English County cricket clubs enjoy the same privileges as members of interstate reciprocal clubs.

Overseas Reciprocal Clubs

Full members from the following overseas clubs have complimentary entitlements to the MCC Members' Reserve for AFL events:
  • Singapore Cricket Club
  • Hong Kong Cricket Club
  • Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur
  • Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club
  • Cricket Club of India
  • Royal Bangkok Sports Club
  • Western Province Cricket Club
  • Marylebone Cricket Club

2024 AFL Premiership season arrangements and guidelines for members of reciprocal clubs of the MCC

Overseas reciprocal member access

Members of overseas reciprocal are eligible for a complimentary entry pass for themselves and the option to purchase up to four (4) visitor tickets (except for the Anzac Day match where the limit is up to two (2)). Only Full members of affiliated reciprocal clubs/venues on a short term visit to Australia will have entry entitlements.

Members of overseas members must provide their Full membership card, a Letter of Introduction from their club, as well as identification confirming their residency outside Australia before any reciprocal access or sale of visitor tickets will proceed.

While access to the Long Room and seating areas on Levels 2 & 3 of the MCC Members' Reserve will be available to members of overseas reciprocal clubs, guests will not be able to access these areas. For guests of reciprocal members to access these facilities, a Long Room or balcony pass can be collected on event day from the Membership Services windows located to the left hand side of the Members' Reserve entrance at Gate 2 of the MCG subject to them being available for MCC members' guests at the time.

Interstate reciprocal member access

Members of interstate reciprocal clubs/venues are eligible to purchase a ticket for themselves and the option to purchase up to one (1) visitor ticket for seating on level 1 or 4 in the MCC Members' Reserve for all matches of the 2024 AFL Premiership season. Associate, guest and corporate memberships have no access rights. Please note that if you hold multiple membership cards that only one card can be used for reciprocal rights.

Members must provide their Full membership card as well as identification confirming their residence outside Victoria before any applications will be processed. You are encouraged to pre-purchase your required ticketing to avoid disappointment on the day.

Centre Wing (Marvel Stadium) member access

Centre Wing members have access to purchase a reserved seat or general admission ticket to access seating on level 1 or 4 in the MCC Members' Reserve for all matches of the 2024 AFL Premiership season via Ticketek using their membership barcodes.  

VRC and MRC member access

VRC and MRC members will have access to purchase a reserved seat or general admission ticket for themselves and up to two (2) visitor tickets for all Category 3 matches of the 2024 AFL Premiership season via Ticketek using their membership barcodes.

Dress Standards and Dining

The minimum dress standard in the Members' Reserve is neat casual. Males 15 years and over must wear a collared shirt (even if worn under a collared sweater or jacket) at all times in the Reserve. Further information on the dress standards can be found here.

Dining facilities are available on level 1 and include Tower 6 Bar and Grill (pizzas & steaks) and Stumps Tavern (Tapas). Light snack meals are available in a range of other dining and bar facilities throughout the Reserve.

How to purchase tickets

We highly recommend tickets are purchased in advance tickets to avoid disappointment.

Members of overseas and Interstate clubs/venues can complete the online application form at the bottom of this page. Once your application has been accepted, you will receive an email within two (2) business days with a link to complete payment for your tickets (if applicable). Once finalised your digital ticket(s) for the Members’ Reserve will be sent to you by Ticketek. Your seat(s) will be processed on a best available basis. Tickets may be available to purchase on the day from Membership Services located to the left of Gate 2 at the MCG.

Centre Wing, MRC & VRC members can purchase their tickets into the MCC Reserve via Ticketek using their membership barcode. Tickets may be available to purchase on the day from the ticket windows located to the right of Gate 2 at the MCG.

The MCC reserves the right to discontinue the allocation of reciprocal tickets and the sale visitor tickets for any match. Under no circumstances will a visitor ticket be sold to a reciprocal member’s guest if they are not available to MCC members at the time. Please note all tickets purchased are non-refundable.

Match categories and Application availability

The match categories can be viewed here. The applications for tickets will be available from the dates as below:
  • Rounds 1-6: Tuesday February 27
  • Rounds 7-8: Tuesday March 26
  • Rounds 9-12: Tuesday April 30
  • Rounds 13-15: Tuesday May 28

Before arriving

  • Make sure you pack your debit or credit card as the MCG will operate as a cashless venue.
  • Come prepared for all types of weather conditions, including packing a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and a poncho or a raincoat.
  • Only bags that fit under your seat will be permitted.

    State of Origin 2024

    Arrangements for members of reciprocal clubs of the MCC

    We are delighted to offer tickets into the MCC Members’ Reserve to members of our interstate, overseas and domestic reciprocal clubs/venues for the State of Origin match between New South Wales and Queensland at the MCG on Wednesday June 26, 2024. Reciprocal club members will be able to purchase a ticket for themselves and up to one ticket for a guest that will provide access to reserved seating on Level 1 or Level 4 of the MCC Members’ Reserve.

    The cost per ticket is $110.00. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketek for Domestic reciprocal club members or via the links below for interstate and overseas reciprocal club members.

    Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United 2024

    Arrangements for members of reciprocal clubs of the MCC

    We are delighted to offer tickets into the MCC Members’ Reserve to members of our interstate, overseas and domestic reciprocal clubs/venues for the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United as part of Global Football Week, at the MCG on Wednesday May 22, 2024. Reciprocal club members will be able to purchase a ticket for themselves and up to one ticket for a guest that will provide access to reserved seating on Level 1 or Level 4 of the MCC Members’ Reserve.

    The cost per ticket is $109.00. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketek for Domestic reciprocal club members or via the links below for interstate and overseas reciprocal club members.

    The British & Irish Lions v Wallabies 2025

    Arrangements for members of reciprocal clubs of the MCC

    We are delighted to offer tickets into the MCC Members’ Reserve to members of our interstate, overseas and domestic reciprocal clubs/venues for the match between the British & Irish Lions and the Wallabies at the MCG in July 2025. Reciprocal club members will be able to purchase a ticket for themselves and up to one ticket for a guest that will provide access to reserved seating on Level 1 or Level 4 of the MCC Members’ Reserve.

    The cost per ticket is $299.00. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketek for Domestic reciprocal club members or via the links below for interstate and overseas reciprocal club members.
