Visiting the Members' Reserve for the 2022/23 cricket seasonAll MCG match days have been categorised according to their expected demand from members and their guests to attend the Members' Reserve.
Full and Restricted members will have access to all match days for the remainder of the 2022/23 cricket season.
For a small number of match days when the attendance of Full and Restricted members and their guests is forecast to be high, Provisional members may have limited or no access to the Reserve.
Members booking reserved seats on Level 2 will be limited to the same number of visitors that apply for Balcony passes. Please note that all members and visitors with a Level 2 reserved seat do not require a Long Room or Balcony pass to access their seats, however, a Long Room pass (subject to availability) is required for visitors wishing to access the Long Room.

Match detailsMatch days at the MCG will be classified as a Category 1, 2 or 3 match day in accordance with attendance estimates and expected demand of amenities by members.
Reserved seats, access to the Reserve and passes are all subject to availability.
Applications for Balcony and Long Room passes for international cricket matches will open at the same time as dining. Applications can be made via the event page, and will be open for up to eight days, or until passes are exhausted.
All available passes not allocated in advance will be available for collection on match day from the passes window on the left hand side of Gate 2.
Balcony and Long Room passes will not be required for visitors to access Level 2 and 3 seating for Big Bash League matches.

Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup
The Members’ Reserve will be open to all members and their guests for Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup matches across the 2022/23 summer of cricket.
Members of all categories can purchase up to four visitor tickets on the day of the event from the Membership Services windows located to the left hand side of Gate 2. Members must scan their MCC membership card at the turnstiles for access.
Access to Level 2 seating and the Long Room will be available to members and their visitors only. Visitor tickets will serve as a Balcony Pass to allow visitors access to Level 2. Long Room passes for Sheffield Shield or One-Day Cup matches will be distributed for guests upon purchase of visitor tickets.
For all Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup matches the usual Members’ Reserve and Long Room dress standards apply for accessing the Reserve, whilst Long Room dress standards apply for those wishing to access the Long Room.
Reserved SeatsMembers may purchase reserved seating for themselves and visitors in accordance with match category conditions.
Any unallocated reserved seating will become available to members and visitors on a walk up basis, subject to capacity and availability.
Provisional members may also purchase reserved seats for all match days, excluding the first day of the Boxing Day Test, subject to match category conditions.

Visitor ticketsFull and Restricted members may purchase visitor tickets for each cricket match at the MCG.
There is a limit of two visitor tickets per Full and Restricted member for Day 1 of the Test and a limit of four per Full and Restricted for all other days of international and domestic cricket.
The limit for Provisional members is two per member for Category 2 match days and four for Category 3 match days.
A decision on the timing of the on-sale for visitor tickets for Day 5 of the Test will be made during the match and communicated to members via email.
Visitor tickets for Sheffield Shield or One-Day Cup matches will be available to purchase on match day from Membership Services at Gate 2.
Alcohol-Free BaysAdditional alcohol-free bays have been allocated within the Members' Reserve for matches during the 2022/23 cricket season.
Alcohol-free seating areas will be allocated in both walk up and reserved seating areas.
- M41 (reserved) & M42 (walk up)
- N41 (reserved) & N48 (walk up)
- Q42 & Q43 rows A-F (reserved)
Note: Any unallocated reserved seating in alcohol-free bays will be made available for alcohol-free walk up seating.
Accessible seating & Companion CardsReserved seating for accessible patrons, including wheelchair spaces, and their carers (with a government issued Companion Card) is available via Ticketek by completing the online form at help.ticketek.com.au, by calling 1300 665 915 or in-person at the Club. Walk up spaces will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis on match days.

- Tickets can be purchased via the Ticketek website (ticketek.com.au/mccmembers), by calling the MCC members priority line 1300 136 961, at Ticketek agencies or the Membership Services Office at the Club, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. Tickets may also be purchased at the Gate 2 tickets windows on match days, subject to availability.
- When purchasing tickets at a Ticketek agency, Membership Services Office or Gate 2, your membership card will be required.
- Only members can collect pre-purchased tickets from the right of Gate 2 on match day. Visitors cannot collect pre-purchased tickets.
- A limit of 10 tickets per transaction applies.
- Children under six are admitted free of charge.
- Members are required to be in attendance with visitors.
50-year MembersThe MCC provides a reserved seating area (N42) and the John Landy Room, both on Level 2, for the exclusive use of MCC members of 50 or more years standing. The introduction of guests into the room and seating area is subject to demand.
Seating in the 50-year members’ reservation will be will be available on both a pre-booked reserved and walk-up basis for 50-year members and their guests. A dedicated amount of seats will be allocated for pre-booking via Ticketek while there will also seats set aside for 50-year members and their guests on a walk-up basis on match day. These seats can be obtain from the host in John Landy Room.

Applications for dining in the Members’ Dining Room and Jim Stynes Grill can be made through the MCC website on each event page or by calling the Club on (03) 9657 8888.
When registrations for the Boxing Day Test exceed room capacity, a ballot will be conducted and all registered members will be notified of the outcome.
At the time of registering members will be required to provide:
- Member number
- Number of people dining (including member numbers of other members in the group)
- Preferred dining time
The number of visitors permitted for dining at each match is outlined in the table above. Members and visitors who secure dining in the Members’ Dining Room (and Committee Room by Grossi when available to members) will also access a Level 2 reserved seat as part of their booking. To gain entry, members will scan in with their membership card and visitors are able to obtain a general admission visitors ticket.
Bookings for BBL matches will be processed in a first-in, first-served manner from the dates listed in the table above.
On select match days, the Club may have access to other dining facilities within or close to the Members’ Reserve. Members who are unsuccessful in the ballot will be offered priority access to attractive match day dining packages in these facilities. This will be communicated following the ballot if applicable.
Sheffield Shield & One-Day Cup
The Committee Room by Grossi will operate as the main dining room for lunch on Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup match days (excluding weekends).
Members are encouraged to book in advance. To book, please click here, contact MCG Hospitality on (03) 9284 2352 or MCG-Dining@delawarenorth.com, or the room can be accessed on a walk up basis on the day, subject to capacity.
Trumble Bar & Café will be available for casual dining at all matches, including on weekends. No reservations are required.
The Long Room Bar and Frank Grey Smith Bar will be open on all Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup event days. Dining in the Long Room will not be available.

Membership expectations and code of conductMembers and guests in the MCC Reserve are expected to observe a standard of behaviour that is socially acceptable and in keeping with the standards befitting the Club, guided by the MCC Code of Conduct.

Dress standardsWhen visiting the Members' Reserve there are certain dress standards that members and their guests must follow.
The dress standards will be enforced in the Members' Reserve at all events during the 2022/23 cricket season, so to avoid any delay at the turnstiles, please ensure that your attire, and that of your guests, is appropriate. Notwithstanding the outlined dress standards, management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person considered not suitably attired.
Please note that only Members' Reserve dress requirements apply in the Members' Dining Room during Big Bash League matches. Normal dress standards apply for the Long Room.

Arrive earlyTo ensure you are inside the Reserve in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.
If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival at the MCG. To gain entry into the match, scan your membership card at the turnstiles.
Before arriving at the MCGWe encourage all members and their guests to do the following, as part of their preparation if they plan to attend:
- Make sure you pack your debit, credit or MCCPlus+ card as the MCG will operate as a cashless venue.
- Come prepared for all types of weather conditions, including packing a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and a poncho or a raincoat.
- Keep your bag or backpack to a size that can fit comfortably under your seat. Larger bags such as duffle bags, sports bags or suitcases will be required to be checked in to the cloaking facilities located at Gate 1 and Gate 3.

MCG Multi-Faith Prayer RoomThe MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open to all patrons from Round 1 onward.
Located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (at approximately M13), the room is able to cater for more than 50 patrons at one time, and is suitable for patrons of all faiths including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu.
Replacing a previous smaller space in the Ponsford Stand, the Multi-Faith Prayer Room is accessible for all patrons from across the stadium, regardless of where they are seated.
