Boxing Day Test member arrangements


The Ashes reignite from December 26-30 when Australia hosts England for the fourth Test match of what is set to be a thrilling 2025-26 NRMA Insurance Men’s Ashes Series.

Tickets for the Boxing Day Test will go on sale to MCC members at 10.00am AEDT on Tuesday October 7 via Ticketek.

Match Categories

Demand for this match by Full and Restricted members is expected to be high. As such, Days 1-3 have been assigned as Category 1 match days.

Provisional members are unable to access the Members’ Reserve through their membership for Days 1-3 of the Boxing Day Test.

Ticketing arrangements for Day 5 of the Boxing Day Test will be made available during the match and communicated to members on the MCC website, via the MCC App and via email.

Boxing Day Test seating arrangements

Members can purchased reserved seating for themselves and their guests in accordance with match day category conditions outlined in the match categories table above. Click here to view match category entitlements for the cricket season.

Any unallocated reserved seating will become available to members and visitors for unreserved seating, subject to availability.

*Children aged two years and under as of the day of the match do not require a visitor ticket, as they do not occupy a seat.

Tickets are subject to availability and capacity. Ticketek service and handling fee inclusive of GST: $9.00.

Dining

The Members’ Dining Room, Jim Stynes Grill, Missymu by Shirley and 1956 Restaurant are available for pre-booked dining.

Bookings can be made through the MCC website or MCC App. Timings are outlined in the table above

When dining registrations exceed room capacity, a ballot will be conducted and all registered members will be notified of the outcome.

Members and visitors who secure dining in the Members’ Dining Room, Missymu by Shirley and 1956 Restaurant will also access a Level 2 reserved seat as part of their booking. Please note: members must still obtain an unreserved visitor ticket for their guest to enter the Members’ Reserve.
