Cricket Australia recently laid out the schedule of international cricket matches in Australia next summer, with the Ashes Test series against England the main event on the card.

The last three Boxing Day Tests between cricket’s oldest foes have drawn opening day crowds of 89,155 (2006) 84,345 (2010) and a world record 91,112 (2013), so we expect another blockbuster this December.

The two teams will also contest five 50-over matches immediately following the Test series, one of which will be at the MCG (January 14). The ‘G will also host a T20 international between the countries on February 10.

Arrangements for MCC members, including access and ticket details, will be confirmed in due course.
