Some of world football's biggest names - including Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr – are set to grace the MCG, as Brazil takes on Argentina and our Socceroos in two major events in June.

On June 9, the two South American nations will play in the SuperClasico delas Americas, before Brazil backs up for a clash with the Australian team on June 13, which will serve as a vital tune-up for the home side before their Confederations Cup campaign in Russia.

All categories of members and their guests will be able to access the MCC Members Reserve for both events. As has been the case for recent special events that have been hosted at the ground, members (except 50-Year and Honorary Life members) will be required to pay a subsidised admission fee to enter the Reserve. This fee will be $50 for the June 9 match and $40 for the fixture on June 13.

Note: The actual member must attend with their card and the entitlement is not transferable. Guest cards are transferable, but entry entitlements must also be purchased for these cards and they must be used in accordance with the normal conditions.

Also on sale now are visitor tickets for guests (maximum of four per Full and Restricted member and two per Provisional member). They cost $115 (adults) and $60 (children aged 6-14) for the first match and $95 (adults) and $50 (children aged 6-14) for the second match.

Tickets are already on sale and selling fast for the Brazil v Argentina game. MCC members will be able to purchase tickets for themselves and their guests on March 16 at 9.00am for the Brazil v Socceroos contest.

Note: Members will not be able to purchase visitor tickets unless they have validated their own card for entry. Tickets are available at Ticketek, or at the club during business hours.

Provisional members

Both of these matches are Category 4 events for Provisional members, meaning they will be able to purchase entry entitlements for themselves and up to two visitor tickets for guests.

They will also be able purchase reserved seating on levels 1 and 4, access walk-up seating on levels 2 and 3, make a booking in the Members Dining Room and make application for Balcony passes for guests.
