MCC Target Shooting Section members Richard Lightfoot and Michael Di Pasquale were on fire at the Third World Rimfire and Air Benchrest Federation Competition held in Brisbane in August.

Di Pasquale was awarded a bronze medal in air rifle, gold as a junior in International Sporter and bronze in Light Varmit. 

Lightfoot was successful in obtaining a silver medal as a team member in the International Sporter, part of the  most successful Australian team that has entered in any similar world championship.

Both men compete for MCC in the small-bore rifle discipline, which used .22 calibre target rifles shot over 20 metres, at a range in Camberwell.
