The photo we currently have on file for your membership no longer meets the minimum requirements for your membership card.
For a new membership card and barcode to be issued, you will be required to submit an updated photo.Why do I need to update my photo?
The Club requires a new photo from you for one the below reasons:- The photo we have on file for you is approaching 10 years of age and no longer meets the minimum requirements for your membership card.
- You’ve recently been reinstated and a new photo is required for use on your new membership card as the existing card and photo have expired.
- The Club doesn’t have a photo on file for identification purposes.
How do I update my photo?
To update the current photo we have on file, simply download the MCC App by searching ‘Melbourne Cricket Club’ in the App Store or Google Play and follow the prompts.The photo that you upload or take will become the ID photo used on your new MCC membership card.
When requested to verify your ID via the MCC App, you will need a current Australian driver’s licence or passport. The card number on your driver’s licence can be found on the back of the licence.

What happens next?
Once your photo has been received by the Club, a new membership card with a new barcode will be issued to you.If you update your photo via the MCC App, your digital membership card and new barcode will be available for use within 24 hours via the My Card button.
If you submit your photo at a participating Australia Post outlet, it can take up to two weeks for your photo to be received and new membership card and barcode to be issued. Once issued, your new digital membership card will be available for use in the MCC app via the My Card button.
A new physical membership card will be posted to you with your updated photo and a new barcode within three weeks of receipt of your photo. Your new card will be ready for immediate use via Ticketek or the Gate 2 turnstiles for your next visit once received in your mailbox.
Members participating in the MCC Plus program are reminded that your new card must be activated and a personal identification number (PIN) must be set using the details on the carrier that receive in the mail. On receipt of your new card in the mail, you can dispose of your old membership card.
