Arrive early
To ensure you are inside the MCG in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.
If you have purchased tickets for others, remember to forward tickets to the individuals attending within your group for easy entry.
Download your ticket prior to your arrival at the MCG. To gain entry into the match, scan your digital ticket at the turnstiles.
Your entry gate will be outlined on your digital ticket. You must enter through the gate specified on your ticket.
Safety
Security checks to access the venue will be in place to assist in the safety of those in attendance. All bags will be checked and wand metal detectors will be used by security upon entry to the MCG. Pack lightly and accordingly for all weather conditions.

DINING
The Club has secured exclusive access to the Members’ Dining Room and the Long Room for use by members and their guests who have purchased tickets to attend matches.
Both rooms will operate in a similar manner to normal international cricket matches, albeit with some slight variations.
Members’ Dining Room and Long Room
Advance dinner bookings for this match will be taken for tables in the Long Room. Walk up dining will also be available on match days subject to availability.
A-la-carte dining will be available in either the Members’ Dining Room or Long Room for dinner for all match days depending on demand, and the members’ bar will be open from gate opening time.
Bookings
Members who have purchased tickets to matches will be able to book a table in either the Members' Dining Room or Long Room on a first-in, first served basis. Bookings for all matches can be made online on the MCC website and will be open at 9.00am on Monday October 17. Please click on the link above to book.
Members with guests in their bookings will automatically be issued with internal passes for guests that will enable them to access the rooms, so members will not need to apply for internal guest passes in advance as well. Members must show their membership card to gain access to the dining and bar areas.
Walk-up dining will only be available if the room is not booked out in advance. In this circumstance, members will be able to apply for guest passes on the match day when registering a booking at the reception desk.
Dress Code
The dress code for the Members’ Dining Room and Bar and Long Room will be neat casual, i.e. the equivalent standard that is normally expected when entering the Members’ Reserve.
Access
Members (all categories) who have purchased tickets to matches will be able to access the Members’ Dining Room and Long Room (when open exclusively for members & guests) by simply producing their MCC membership card at the entrance doors.
Internal Guest Passes
Members may also apply for passes for their guests that have tickets to matches to access both the Members’ Dining Room and Long Room (when open exclusively for members & guests). There is a limit of four guest passes per member for each match day.
Applications for passes can be made online on the MCC website and will be allocated on a first-in, first-served basis. Applications will open Monday October 17.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges and in 2022, the G-Train will also feature vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

Metro Trains Disruptions
Buses replace trains on sections of the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines this Sunday.
- Passengers should allow extra time when travelling to and from the MCG.
- Please be aware after the game there may be increased congestion and delays getting onto the platforms at Richmond and Jolimont stations.
- Passengers are advised to return to where they got off the bus prior to the game.

Multi-Faith Prayer Room
The MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Rooms are open to all patrons.
For the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup tournament, the MCG is operating two Multi-Faith Prayer Room spaces for patrons across the stadium. The permanent room is located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (behind approximately M13 and M14) and temporary facility is located on the same level behind sections M20 and M21.
The permanent facility is able to cater for more than 50 patrons at one time, and is suitable for patrons of all faiths including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu.
Replacing a previous smaller space in the Ponsford Stand, the new permanent Multi-Faith Prayer Room is accessible for all patrons from across the stadium, regardless of where they are seated.
