2024 AFL GRAND FINAL RESTRICTED MEMBER ACCESS
The limited allocation of Restricted member tickets made available at 10.30am has now been exhausted. Currently, the only access into the MCC Members' Reserve now is eligible Full members and Annual Guest Card holders. Restricted members are encouraged to keep an eye on

UNRESERVED SEATING UPDATE | Grand Final – Sydney v Brisbane
All unreserved seating in the Members’ Reserve has now been filled. Only standing room remains for unreserved access.
MEMBER ACCESS
Only Full members and Annual Guest Card holders have access entitlements to the 2024 AFL Grand Final, subject to Members’ Reserve capacity, adhering to arrangements and being financial for the 2024/25 membership season. There will be no visitor tickets available for the 2024 AFL Grand Final.

Unreserved seats and standing roomApproximately 6,000 seats and 1,000 standing spaces will be made available for unreserved access on AFL Grand Final Day on a first-in, first-served basis.
The following areas are available for unreserved seating, subject to change and availability.
Level 1- M37
- M38-M39 (rows A-Z)
- M38-M39 (rows AA-NN - no alcohol)
- M40
Level 2- N43-N44
- N45 (rows A-L)
- N47
- N48 (no alcohol)
Level 3Level 4- Q37-Q46 (rows HH-MM)

Please note, Annual Guest Card holders can only access unreserved seating on Levels 1 and 4 at the AFL Grand Final.
QueuingMembers and Annual Guest Card holders may queue for unreserved seating for entry into the Members’ Reserve at Gate 2. Aside from comfort breaks, members must remain in the queue and not leave personal items in their place. Any chairs, bags, rugs or other items left unattended for long periods will be removed from the queue.
One person in the queue represents one spot. Latecomers are not able to join family or friends already in the queue. Club and security staff will be assigned to continually monitor the queue. Members and Annual Guest Card holders who fail to adhere to these rules may face disciplinary action under the Club’s Code of Conduct.
Only Full members and Annual Guest Card holders planning on attending the AFL Grand Final are permitted to be in the queue area. Please note: Members' Reserve dress standards apply to access the Reserve at gate opening.
Queuing members will be able to access tea and coffee, as well as bathroom facilities at Trumble Bar and Café between 9.00pm AEST on Friday September 27 and 7.00am AEST on Saturday September 28.
In the interest of safety for all, members are asked to enter the Reserve in a responsible and respectful manner. Running is not permitted when moving your way through the queue or into the Reserve’s seating area.
Children aged 2 years and under as of the day of the match are eligible to attend free of charge provided they are accompanied by an adult, and do not occupy a seat.
Gate 2B – Entry for Members with Access Needs and 50 Year MembersMembers seeking unreserved accessibility seating and Members with reserved accessibility seating will be able to enter the Member’s Reserve via Gate 2b. Each Member with a reserved accessibility seat can only be accompanied by one person. This accompanying person must be a Full member, hold an annual guest card or have redeemed a companion’s ticket upon showing proof of a valid Companion Card.
Please note only 50-Year members can access the seating in the 50-Year member seating bay (not other Full members or Annual Guest Card holders), with approximately 40 per cent of the bay available for unreserved seating
Match dayA map of unreserved areas can be found
here and below. Once you have selected your unreserved seat on Levels 1, 2 or 3, an MCC staff member will issue you with a reserved seat ticket for the match. Tickets on Level 4 will be distributed at the stairwell leading into each bay. Please see a Club staff member at the stairwell to your desired section prior to accessing the seats.
Once you occupy a seat, please remain there until you receive a ticket from an MCC staff member. Staff will begin issuing tickets within 15-20 minutes of gates opening.
Once you have your reserved seat ticket, you will be able to leave the MCG by scanning out via Gates 1 or 2. Seat saving is not permitted and tickets will only be issued to members or Annual Guest Card holders present.

The registration period for the Members' Dining Room, Jim Stynes Grill and Missymu by Shirley for the AFL Grand Final is now closed.
Members should note that in the Members' Reserve, seats will NOT be issued to successful dining applicants. Further details on dining, including cancellation policy, access for children and more, visit

CASUAL DININGIn addition to pre-booked dining and the multiple takeaway food outlets throughout the Reserve, hot food will also be available in the following outlets throughout the day:
Trumble Bar & Cafe: Breakfast will be available between 8.00am and 10.00am. The Cafe will then close for 30 minutes before re-opening for lunch between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
Long Room: The Long Room will serve breakfast rolls between 8.00am and 9.30am. Lunch service will begin from 10.30am until 2.30pm. Additional dress standards apply.
Stumps Tavern: Featuring a range of bar snack favourites from 10.00am.
Tower 6: Serving fan-favourite woodfire pizzas from 10.30am.
LONG ROOM AND BALCONY PASSESNo Long Room or Balcony passes are available for this match.
To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.

PRECINCT ROAD CLOSURES- Brunton Avenue will be closed between 6.00am-10.30pm.
- Jolimont Street & Terrace will be closed between 5.00am-8.00pm.
- Wellington Parade will be closed between 5.00pm-8.00pm.
- Vale Street will be closed between 5.00am-8.00pm.
- The MCG is a cashless venue. All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets will be cashless – so all transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.
- The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction.

FLASHING LIGHT AND PYROTECHNICS WARNINGPlease note, flashing lights and pyrotechnics will be used throughout this match at the MCG.
MCC MUSEUM AND MCC LIBRARY The MCC Library and MCC Museum are open to members and their guests on match days at the MCG.
The MCC Library is located on Level 3 of the Members’ Reserve, whilst the MCC Museum, is located on Level B1.
The G’ TRAIN MOBILITY SHUTTLE SERVICEThe G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area
