The Melbourne Cricket Club is excited to welcome you to the Members’ Reserve for the 2025 AFL Premiership Season ANZAC Day match between Collingwood and Essendon.

Arrive Early

  • Please plan ahead and arrive as early as possible. Enhanced security measures will be in place at the MCG which may slightly increase wait times.
  • Be mindful of what is in your bag. Ensure bags are small and items carried meet the conditions of entry.

Key Timings

We encourage patrons to arrive early, and allow plenty of time for the entry process to ensure you are inside the MCG in time to witness the ANZAC Day Ceremony.

Please note: Service at all outlets within the MCG and entry through the gates will be paused out of respect during the Observance Ceremony. Operations will resume at the conclusion of the Ceremony.

Ticketing update

Reserved seats and visitor tickets in the MCC Members' Reserve are now sold out the Round 7 Collingwood v Essendon match on Friday 25 April, 2025. Full and Restricted members and Annual Guest Card holders can still access unreserved seating and standing room in the Members’ Reserve by scanning their membership card at the Gate 2 turnstiles on the day of the match, subject to capacity.

Remaining accessible seating can be redeemed via the Accessible Ticketing Form on a first-in, first-served basis, subject to availability.

This is a Category 1 match. Full and Restricted members have access. Provisional members do not have access to this match.

SEAT TICKETS
Please note, seat tickets will be distributed for unreserved seating on Levels 1, 2 and 3 for this match. Once the gates open and members and guests have chosen their seats, an attendant will issue a reserved seat ticket to those in attendance at the time. If arriving at a later time, please see one of the attendants in the unreserved bays and they will be issue you with seats tickets for available seating. Seat tickets will only be issued to members and guests in attendance.

Match Day Dining, Long Room and Balcony Passes

DINING AVAILABLE FOR PRE-BOOKING
For this match, dining reservations are available in the Members’ Dining Room, Jim Stynes Grill, Missymu by Shirley and 1956.  

The registration period for this event will open at 9.00am AEST on Monday April 14 and close at 5.00pm on the following day.

Please note: if the capacity of a dining room is not reached during the ballot period, members can continue to make a booking up until the day of the match, or until the room books out.

ADDITIONAL DINING OPTIONS
MCC members and their guests can access a range of additional dining facilities in the MCC Members’ Reserve on match days at the MCG with no booking required.

Getting to the ‘G

To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.

If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival. To gain entry into the match, scan your physical or digital membership card at the turnstiles.

PARKING IN YARRA PARK
No general public parking is available for this match. Parking is available for accessibility and accredited passholders only. 

Parking for disability permit holders can be pre-booked via Ticketek here.

PRECINCT ROAD CLOSURES
  • Brunton Avenue will be closed from 12.00pm to 7.00pm
  • Jolimont Street and Terrace will be closed from 11.00am to 7.00pm
  • Wellington Parade will be closed from 6.00pm to 6.30pm
  • Vale Street will be closed from 11.00am to 7.00pm

At the ‘G

  • The MCG is a cashless venue. All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets will be cashless – so all transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.
  • The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction.
  • At the MCG, your safety is our priority. If you experience any form of antisocial behaviour, please report it by texting 'Assist' to the MCG's antisocial text hotline on +61 409 117 621.

Pram Cloaking
For this match only, prams can be stored external to the stadium at the dedicated cloaking area outside Gate 3A.

It is free to cloak a pram and the cloaking areas will be staffed from 11:30am until 7.00pm (or one hour after the final siren).

FLASHING LIGHTS AND PYROTECHNICS WARNING
Please note, flashing lights and pyrotechnics will be used throughout this match at the MCG.

AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUM
The Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 15 minutes before the match start time.

Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.

Be sure to arrive early to make the most of your visit.

MCC MUSEUM AND MCC LIBRARY
The MCC Library and MCC Museum are open to members and their guests on match days at the MCG.

The MCC Library is located on Level 3 of the Members’ Reserve, whilst the MCC Museum, is located on Level B1.

Accessibility

The 'G TRAIN MOBILITY SHUTTLE SERVICE
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.

The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.

Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
  • Richmond Station
  • Jolimont Station
  • Accessible Parking Area

SENSORY FRIENDLY SPACE
A Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.

There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidget toys to relax in a multi-purpose room.
