A tradition for many on Boxing Day is to start the day early in the Members' Dining Room for the Boxing Day Breakfast.

There is no better way to kick off our biggest cricket day on the annual MCG calendar than hearing from big names in the game. The breakfast will again be hosted by former Australian fast-bowling favourite Damien Fleming with special guest speaker Ian Botham who is hailed as one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of the game.

This function will be open to Full and Restricted members and they may bring up to (1) one guest. Members are reminded that they will need to pre-book their entry and reserved seat tickets along with their visitor tickets separate to the function as function attendance does not include ground entry or reserved seating.

Due to the high demand for this function, a ballot will be conducted. Registrations for the ballot will open at 9:00am on Thursday December 9, 2021 and close at 5:00pm Monday December 13, 2021. Member credit cards will be charged on Tuesday December 14, 2021 should you be successful in the ballot with further notification on success or otherwise to follow shortly after.

Please note that in line with the Victorian Government's guidelines, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend this function. On arrival please be prepared to QR code into the venue and show your vaccination status.
