The Club is delighted to be hosting the Annual Bradman Luncheon on Thursday August 24 in the Members' Dining Room, held In honour of one of Australia’s greatest ever cricket players, Sir Donald Bradman.

Dress code: Jacket and tie, equivalent standard for women
Price: $140 members, $155 guests
The Luncheon will once again be hosted by renowned broadcaster Gerard Whateley and joined by Scott Boland and Lisa Sthalekar.
The function includes a sit-down three-course lunch, beverages (beer, wine and sparkling), and is available for all categories of membership who can book with up to nine guests.
Bookings for this function will open on Tuesday July 11, 2023 and close on Thursday August 17, 2023.
Scott Boland
Scott Boland is an Australian international cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, he also plays domestically for Victoria and the Hobart Hurricanes.In March 2019, he was named the Sheffield Shield Player of the Year by Cricket Australia. Boland is one of a handful of Indigenous Australians to be selected to play for Australia at international level and, as of December 2021, is only the second male Aboriginal player to have played Test cricket for Australia, after Jason Gillespie.
Boland was a member of the Australian team that won the 2023 ICC World Test Championship final. He has recently returned from the Ashes series and we look forward to hearing from him.
Lisa Sthalekar
Lisa Sthalekar is widely regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in women's cricket history. Lisa’s career spanned over a decade, from 2001 to 2013, during which she made significant contributions to the Australian women's cricket team.Career highlights include being an instrumental member of the Australian team that won the ICC Women's World Cup in 2005 and 2013. She was also a key member of the team that won the ICC Women's World Twenty20 in 2010 and 2012.
Lisa’s remarkable performances with both bat and ball earned her numerous accolades, including winning the Belinda Clark Award (in 2007 and 2008) and was inducted into the International Cricket Hall of Fame in 2020.
