The next XXIX Club Long Room Lunch will be held on Friday February 3, 2023. XXIX Club Members and their guests will be treated to a 2 course sit down lunch and a four hour beverage package in the Long Room.

During the lunch, we be joined by guest speaker, Paul Sheahan. Paul is a XXIX Club Permanent Backstop, MCC Life Member and former President, and Australian Test Cricketer. Always at home and eloquent at the crease and the lectern, “Timbers”, who toured India with the Australian team in 1969/70, will enlighten members and guests about touring and cricket life in India and give his thoughts, among other things, on the Australia’s upcoming tour of India.
Following the function, we will head to the Frank Grey Smith Bar (Level 3) where beverages will be available at bar prices.
