Santa photos at the 'G

Santa arrives in the Members' Reserve this December!

Bring the family down to the MCC Members' Reserve on select dates in December and get your photo taken with Santa in front of the spectacular backdrop of the MCG.

Wear your favourite Christmas outfit, join in the Christmas cheer and get a unique Santa photo to remember! You will also have the opportunity to write letters to Santa while listening to classic Christmas tunes.

Photos with Santa will be available between 11am and 5pm and photos will be provided as a print and also sent digitally.

Food and beverages will be available to purchase on the day.

A Relaxed Santa session will also be available on this day. Find out more below.

Cost: $20 per booking
Guests: You may bring any number of additional members or guests with you for your booking, however please note, only one photo will be taken and printed per booking

Relaxed Santa

Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy a fun, interactive and safe Christmas experience here at the ‘G. That’s why we’re introducing Relaxed Santa, an opportunity for people with sensory sensitivities and other processing differences to have their photo taken with Santa in a more relaxed, less stimulating environment.

As part of this event, we will be:

• Turning down the Christmas carols
• Providing a quiet space for attendees to relax before or after Santa
• Rostering trained staff to assist
• Making fidgets and other activities available
• Sending a visual story to registered attendees on the Monday prior to the visit to help you prepare
• Providing a flexible queuing structure
• Allowing up to 10mins per group with Santa where possible

• Saturday 21 December, 3pm – 5pm
• Sunday 22 December, 3pm – 5pm

Please note:

• If you will be joining us for the Relaxed Santa sessions, please make a note on your registration so that we can send you appropriate information to prepare you for your visit with Santa at the ‘G.
• A quiet space will also be available during all Santa at the ‘G sessions across December for anyone who requires it.
• The MCG is a supporter of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower and as such the Sunflower will be recognised by trained staff on this day.
• The MCG has parents rooms and change tables and a dedicated pram parking area will be created near Santa.
• Santa will be located on Level 4 overlooking the stadium. If you have vertigo or are afraid of heights, please let us know at time of booking.

Booking details

Bookings open at 9.00am on Thursday November 14, 2024 and will be taken on a first-in, first-served basis. Bookings will close on Tuesday December 10, 2024 at 5.00pm, unless sold out prior.
