The Military Veterans’ Group would like to invite you to attend their October Luncheon, to be held on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 12:00pm.

Members and their guests will be treated to a two-course lunch and a four-hour beverage package in the Members' Dining Room.

The October Luncheon will mark 80 years since Victory in the Pacific (1945) and the conclusion of the United States Marine Corps’ wartime presence at the MCG.

This luncheon will feature a special program in recognition of the occasion. Before we hear from our guest speaker, the Repatriation Commissioner, Kahlil Fegan DSC AM, Chair of the Military Veterans’ Group, Michael Annett will extend a warm welcome to distinguished US guests, including the US Consul General and the Marine Defence Attaché from the US Embassy in Canberra.

Marine Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Jake Krebs USMC, will be invited to share some remarks about the special links between the MCC, the MCG, and the US Marine Corps.

This promises to be a very special occasion. Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Please note, the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Melbourne Cricket Club Military Veterans' Group will be held prior to the October Luncheon in the Hans Ebeling Room, Level 2, MCC Members' Reserve at 11:30am on Wednesday October 8. Further information will be available on our website shortly.
