The Women of the MCC invite you to the Members' Dining Room on Thursday October 16, 2025 for the annual Business Breakfast featuring Olympian, media personality and trailblazing sports administrator, Nicole Livingstone AO in conversation with Jacqui Felgate.

With a remarkable career spanning elite sport, national broadcasting and leadership in sport, Nicole brings a wealth of experience and insights from the pool to the boardroom.

Alongside our tremendous MC, Jacqui Felgate, who returns for her fourth Business Breakfast, we know these two women will provide challenge and inspiration as they welcome us to join them in conversation.

Dress code: Business attire
Cost: Full, Restricted and Provisional members: $80. Guests: $95.
Guests: There is no limit to the number of guests and bookings can be made for full or half tables of 10

NICOLE LIVINGSTONE AO

Nicole Livingstone AO is an inaugural VIS scholarship athlete and three-time Olympic swimmer. As one of the nation’s greatest backstrokers, she won multiple medals across Olympic and Commonwealth Games and Pan Pacific Championships.

After retiring in 1996, Nicole transitioned to a successful media career, hosting and commenting on major sporting events for the Nine Network and Network Ten, whilst becoming a mother of three. In 2016, she was awarded the VIS Frank Pyke Achievement award for her distinguished achievements after her swimming career.

Nicole was at the helm of women’s football for six years as the AFL’s General Manager of Women’s Football, overseeing the growth of AFLW and women's participation in the sport.

She has held board positions with several prominent Australian sport organisations, including Chair of the Victorian Institute of Sport from 2016 to 2017. She is the current CEO of the Victorian Institute of Sport.

JACQUI FELGATE

Jacqui Felgate is an award-winning journalist with over 15 years’ experience in broadcast and print journalism. She currently hosts 3AW Drive.

Awarded two Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards, Jacqui has covered numerous state and federal elections and reported on major events around the world. She covered the Black Saturday bushfires, Queensland floods and the Melbourne COVID-19 crisis.

The first female to co-host the Brownlow Medal Count, Jacqui has also worked on major international events including Wimbledon and the 2022 Winter Olympics.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and two daughters. On the weekend you can find her watching her beloved Geelong Cats at the MCG, horse riding and keeping Melbourne updated on Instagram.
