Last night, the MCG joined a number of Victorian landmarks in lighting up blue in tribute to the four Victorian Police officers who lost their lives on duty, and as a symbol of admiration and appreciation for all members of Victoria Police.
The MCC is privileged to work closely with Victoria Police, and to see first-hand the commitment of all members to serving the community and keeping Victorians safe.The Club extends its greatest sympathy and support to all those affected by this tragedy.
Other Victorian buildings and landmarks to pay tribute included Flinders Street Station, Melbourne Town Hall, the Arts Centre, Bolte Bridge, AAMI Park and Marvel Stadium.
