The podcast will take an in-depth look at the great moments of the Club and the MCG, from memorable Boxing Day Tests, great AFL grand finals, moments of controversy, the 1956 Olympic Games and the 2006 Commonwealth Games, to rock concerts and the Bill Graham crusade.Stories will be told through the eyes of the people that were there: the high profile athletes who participated in events at the MCG, the coaches, the officials, the broadcasters, staff and of course – members themselves.
This introductory episode features an in-depth interview with MCC President Michael Happell, who discusses his early memories as a member, his first year as President of the MCC, the Club’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the path towards gathering together in the Reserve once more.
