Visiting the Members' Reserve for Marsh Sheffield Shield

The Club is excited to welcome members back into the Members’ Reserve for this week’s Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and Tasmania.

A decision has been made to host up to 1,000 spectators to the match, with all attendees gaining free of charge access.

As a way to assist capacity management and contact tracing as outlined in the MCG’s endorsed COVIDSafe event plan, the Club has decided to contain all attending patrons to Level 1 of the Members' Reserve.

The MCC is committed to working closely with Cricket Victoria and the Victorian Government to protect the wellbeing of members attending this Sheffield Shield fixture.

  • Pack a fitted face mask as it needs to be worn in congestion, specifically on public transport and through the security and entry process.

  • Only bags that must fit under seat, will be permitted. There will be no cloaking facilities at the MCG.
