Can’t make a match at the MCG? You can now return your pre-purchased tickets
Following feedback from members, the MCC is delighted to introduce ticket returns for selected events* at the MCG - where members can return their pre-purchased visitor tickets and reserved seats.You can now return individual tickets, or your entire transaction and receive a refund for the ticket price (excluding Ticketek transaction fee).
To return your pre-booked tickets, simply download and log in to the Ticketek app and follow these instructions:
- Click on the ‘Tickets’ button in the footer of the app
- Find the ticket you wish to return and click ‘return ticket’, which is located beneath the ticket information
- Accept the pop-up and confirm you wish to return your ticket by clicking ‘return ticket’
- Repeat for each ticket you would like to return
Once a ticket has been returned, it will remain in your Ticketek app, however will state that the ticket is no longer valid.
All returns are final. Once a ticket has been returned, you can no longer use it to access the MCC Members’ Reserve, and may not be able to purchase this same ticket again.
Ticket returns close 5.00pm one business day prior to the match. Business days refer to standard business hours between 9.00am and 5.00pm Melbourne time Monday – Friday, excluding Victorian public holidays. Any return requests after this period should be directed to the MCC Member Services Team at membership@mcc.org.au, and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
*Ticket returns are only available for selected matches, and do not include special events or marquee matches such as the AFL Grand Final.
