MCC Committee Voting - 2023

CorpVote Pty Ltd is independently conducting this ballot process, and acting as returning officer. CorpVote has been appointed to protect members' privacy and ensure a fair and equitable ballot result.

All votes submitted through this system are anonymous and the method by which members cast their vote is secure.

Eligible Full members will receive an email from CorpVote on Friday July 14, 2023 regarding how to vote.

Following the nomination period for the positions on the MCC Committee, five nominations were received for three positions available. Therefore, in accordance with 15.2 (a) of the MCC Club Rules, a ballot is required to determine these positions.

Eligibility to vote in this election has been determined in accordance with Clause 4 of the MCC Rules.

BALLOT PERIOD

The ballot opens at 12.01am on Friday July 14, 2023 and will close on Friday August 11, 2023 at 5.00pm AEST.

VOTING METHODS

Members will be able to cast their vote online here.

Details about how to vote online will be included in the email message sent by CorpVote at the time the vote opens. Members will only be able to vote once and that vote will be registered anonymously.

ELECTIONEERING

Members are reminded the Club Rules prohibit members from contacting (in writing or electronically) other members regarding the election of office bearers or committee members; or otherwise engaging in any electioneering.

WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO VOTE?

Members will require their MCC member number and date of birth.

ELECTION RESULTS

Results will be announced at the MCC Annual General Meeting on Tuesday August 15, commencing at 7.00pm in the Members' Dining Room at the MCG.
