The MCG will host two international cricket matches over the 2023/24 summer – the Boxing Day Test against Pakistan, followed by the opener of a three-match ODI series against West Indies.
The Boxing Day Test will see Pakistan play their first Test match at the MCG since 2016, where Australia defeated the visitors by 18 runs.Then, in February 2024, the MCG will host the opening match of the Dettol ODI series between Australia and the West Indies. The day/night event will kick-start the three match series before the two teams continue to Sydney and Canberra.
MCC tickets for the summer of cricket will be available later in the year, with an exact date to be announced in due course.
