Notice of AGM and Committee Elections

The 188th Annual General Meeting of the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2025 commencing at 7.00pm AEST.

The meeting will be held in person in the Members’ Dining Room, Level 2, MCC Members’ Reserve, Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Members will also have access to the meeting via an online platform. Information on how to access the meeting will be available on the MCC website: mcc.org.au/AGM.

Please note that only Full members are eligible to vote in the meeting’s proceedings.

Ahead of this year's AGM, the Club would like to inform members of the ballot process for the MCC Committee Election.

A total of six nominations have been received for three vacant positions, of which three nominations are current Committee members who have nominated themselves for re-election. The Club received three new nominations from eligible members. Therefore, as the total number of nominations for the Committee exceeds the number of vacancies, an election for the three Committee member positions will be held via ballot.

CorpVote Pty Ltd has been independently chosen to conduct the ballot process, and act as returning officer. CorpVote has been appointed as an independent authority to protect members' privacy and ensure a fair and equitable ballot result.

Eligibility to vote in this election has been determined in accordance with Clause 4 of the Club Rules.

Eligible Full members who have paid their membership subscription fees for the current membership year will receive an email from CorpVote regarding how to vote.

All votes submitted through this system are anonymous, and the method by which members cast their vote is secure.

Ballot period

The ballot opens at 12.01am AEST on Friday July 11, 2025 and will close at 5.00pm AEST on Friday August 8, 2025.

Members will be able to cast their vote online.

Details about how to vote online will be included in the email sent by CorpVote at the time the voting opens. Members will only be able to vote once, and that vote will be registered anonymously.
