Grand Final Reserved Seat Ballot

The ballot period has now closed. Members who entered the 2024 AFL Grand Final Reserved Seat Ballot will be advised of the outcome by 11.00am AEST Tuesday September 17.

Full member AFL Grand Final ticket update

All tickets in the MCC Members' Reserve returned seats on-sale for the 2024 AFL Grand Final between the Sydney Swans and the Brisbane Lions have now been sold. No additional reserved seat tickets will be available for this match.

Eligible Full members and Annual Guest Card holders will be able to access unreserved seating in the MCC Members' Reserve on Saturday on a first-in, best-dressed basis, subject to capacity, from 8:00am AEST when Gate 2 opens.

For more information on accessing unreserved seating, click here.

An additional allocation of approximately 1,000 reserved seats were made available during this on-sale. This means that the Members' Reserve will consist of approximately 15,500 reserved seats, 6,000 unreserved seats and 1,000 standing room spaces for the 2024 AFL Grand Final.

This decision was made as a result of having two non-Victorian teams in the AFL Grand Final, in conjunction with the Club’s responsibility to maximise the attendance in the Members’ Reserve on AFL Grand Final Day.

Grand Final Ballot

Approximately 15,500 seats in the Members’ Reserve are available to reserve in advance via a random ballot and will be allocated to successful members following the registration period which was run from 9.00am AEST on Wednesday September 11 to 5.00pm AEST on Thursday September 12, 2024.

A reserved seat ticket alone will not admit entry into the Members’ Reserve for AFL Grand Final Day. A membership card or an Annual Guest Card, renewed for the 2024/25 season, must also be scanned for entry.

If you have not received correspondence regarding the outcome of the ballot by 5.00pm Tuesday September 17, please contact the Club  via phone on (03) 9657 8888, email membership@mcc.org.au or live chat with the team on the Club’s website.

Full members and Annual Guest Card holders who have successfully obtained a reserved seat in the AFL Grand Final Ballot will not be able to access the Members' Reserve until one hour after gate opening time on AFL Grand Final Day.
