Curtain Raiser - VFL Carlton v Collingwood
The AFL Premiership Season will end with a bang on Sunday August 21 with a VFL curtain raiser to be held between Carlton and Collingwood from 11.45am before the AFL match kicks off at 3.20pm.
One ticket will permit entry to both matches.
Blazer Bar, Percy Beames Bar, Long Room Bar, Members' Dining Room bar and Frank Grey Smith will open from 11.15am.
Hugh Trumble Bar & Cafe and Terrace Cafe will open from 12 noon, the Long Room will open for dining from 12.30pm and Stumps and Tower 6 will open from 1.00pm.
CARLTON V COLLINGWOOD TICKETING UPDATE
Reserved seating in the MCC Members' Reserve is now exhausted for this match. Visitor tickets are also exhausted. There will be no additional visitor tickets available to purchase for this match.
Members, and visitors with a pre-purchased GA ticket, can still access walk-up seating on the match day, subject to availability.
MCC members who have not reserved a seat will still be able to access the MCC Reserve by scanning their membership card at Gate 2.
Please note: 50-Year members are still able to book into their designated bay on Level 2 of the MCC Reserve.

Arrive early
To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.
If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival. To gain entry into the match, scan your membership card at the turnstiles.

Members' Dining
The registration period for the Members' Dining Room and Jim Stynes Grill for this event open at 9.00am AEST on Monday August 15 and close at 5.00pm on the same day.
Long Room & Balcony Passes
The registration period for Long Room and Balcony Passes opens at 9.00am AEST on Monday August 15 and close at 5.00pm on the following day.
Walk up passes can be collected (on a first come, first serve basis) from the last two Membership Services windows to the far left outside of Gate 2 on match day.
Walk up dining options
MCC members and their guests can access a range of walk up dining facilities in the MCC Members’ Reserve on match days at the MCG, in addition to the traditional food outlets available throughout the Reserve.
Long Room
The MCC Long Room is located on Level 2 of the Members’ Reserve and is available to members and their guests. To entertain guests in the MCC Long Room, members can apply for a
Long Room pass which their guest must show on entry to the room. Access to the room for Provisional members and any guests is subject to
match categories and pass conditions.
The MCC Long Room provides a unique culinary experience for members featuring a carvery menu curated by renowned chef Alejandro Saravia of iconic Melbourne restaurant, Farmer’s Daughters.
Open to members and visitors aged 18 years and over, bookings are not required for the Long Room, making it a fantastic alternative to the Members’ Dining Room.

Trumble Bar & Café
The newly renovated Trumble Bar & Café, located on Level 1 of the Members’ Reserve, offers bistro-style dining for members and visitors. The popular Café offers both indoor and outdoor dining as well as a large outdoor screen for easy match viewing.
Available from gates open on match day, serving until the end of half time. Arrive early to avoid the queues.
Tower 6
Located on Level 1 of the Members’ Reserve, Tower 6 offers a casual undercover outdoor dining experience for members and visitors.
Tower 6’s menu of delicious pizzas have become a MCC Members’ Reserve staple. Visit from gates open on match days.
Alcohol-free Bays
Alcohol-free bays have been allocated within the Members’ Reserve. Alcohol-free seating areas will be allocated in both walk-up and reserved seating areas.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges and in 2022, the G-Train will also feature vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

Metro Trains Planned Disruptions
Buses replace trains on sections of the Sunbury, Werribee and Williamstown lines this weekend.
- Passengers should allow extra time when travelling to and from the MCG.
- Please be aware after the game there may be increased congestion and delays getting onto the platforms at Richmond station.
- Passengers are advised to return to where they got off the bus prior to the game.
There will be additional tram services along Route 70 and Route 75 between the MCG and Flinders Street station. There will also be 22 extra train services through Richmond and Jolimont stations and V/Line will be running additional train services on the Geelong Line with increased capacity.
