Arrive early
To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.
If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival. To gain entry into the match, scan your membership card at the turnstiles.

Members' Dining
The registration period for the Members' Dining Room and Jim Stynes Grill for this event open at 9.00am AEST on Monday July 11 and close at 5.00pm on the same day.
Long Room & Balcony Passes
The registration period for Long Room and Balcony Passes opens at 9.00am AEST on Monday July 11 and close at 5.00pm on the following day.
Walk up passes can be collected (on a first come, first serve basis) from the last two Membership Services windows to the far left outside of Gate 2 on match day.
Walk up dining options
MCC members and their guests can access a range of walk up dining facilities in the MCC Members’ Reserve on match days at the MCG, in addition to the traditional food outlets available throughout the Reserve.
Long Room
The MCC Long Room is located on Level 2 of the Members’ Reserve and is available to members and their guests. To entertain guests in the MCC Long Room, members can apply for a
Long Room pass which their guest must show on entry to the room. Access to the room for Provisional members and any guests is subject to
match categories and pass conditions.
The MCC Long Room provides a unique culinary experience for members featuring a carvery menu curated by renowned chef Alejandro Saravia of iconic Melbourne restaurant, Farmer’s Daughters.
Open to members and visitors aged 18 years and over, bookings are not required for the Long Room, making it a fantastic alternative to the Members’ Dining Room.

Trumble Bar & Café
The newly renovated Trumble Bar & Café, located on Level 1 of the Members’ Reserve, offers bistro-style dining for members and visitors. The popular Café offers both indoor and outdoor dining as well as a large outdoor screen for easy match viewing.
Available from gates open on match day, serving until the end of half time. Arrive early to avoid the queues.
Tower 6
Located on Level 1 of the Members’ Reserve, Tower 6 offers a casual undercover outdoor dining experience for members and visitors.
Tower 6’s menu of delicious pizzas have become a MCC Members’ Reserve staple. Visit from gates open on match days.
Alcohol-free Bays
Alcohol-free bays have been allocated within the Members’ Reserve. Alcohol-free seating areas will be allocated in both walk-up and reserved seating areas.

Planned Metro Trains Disruptions
Buses replace trains on sections of the Lilydale, Belgrave, Cranbourne, Pakenham, Mernda and Hurstbridge lines this weekend.
- Passengers should allow extra time when travelling to and from the MCG.
- Please be aware after the game there may be increased congestion and delays getting onto the platforms at Richmond and Jolimont stations.
- Passengers are advised to return to where they got off the bus prior to the game.
Due to service changes in the City Loop, train services on the Mernda, Hurstbridge, Cranbourne and Pakenham lines will operate directly to and from Flinders Street and will not operate through the City Loop this weekend.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges and in 2022, the G-Train will also feature vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

Australian Sports Museum
The Australian Sports Museum is open event days before the bounce for all ticket holders.
Located at Gate 3 inside the MCG, the Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.
For this match, the Museum is open from 10.00am-4.30pm.
Please note: MCG Tours do no operate on event days.
