Arrive early
To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.
If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival. To gain entry into the match, scan your physical or digital membership card at the turnstiles.

Overseas members
Members who have been placed on the Overseas membership list do not automatically have entry rights during the AFL season. Entry to the Club’s facilities will be granted on a return visit as long as it does not exceed six weeks on submission of an itinerary showing the member’s arrival to and departure from Australia. Members' Dining
The registration period for the Members' Dining Room, Lucy Liu Lounge and Jim Stynes Grill for this event will open at 9.00am AEDT on Monday March 20 and close at 5.00pm on the following day.
Long Room & Balcony Passes
The registration period for Long Room and Balcony Passes for this event will open at 9.00am AEDT on Monday March 20 and close at 5.00pm on the following Tuesday or until all passes are exhausted.
Walk up passes can be collected (on a first come, first serve basis) from the last two Membership Services windows to the far left outside of Gate 2 on match day.

MCC members and their guests can access a range of additional dining facilities in the MCC Members’ Reserve on match days at the MCG with no booking required.

here, subject to capacity. Patrons who pre-book parking should allow plenty of time to arrive and park to ensure you are inside the ground for the match start. Queues to enter Yarra Park parking gates are likely. A pre-booked parking ticket does not allow express entry.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

2023 AFL Premiership Season Round 3 - Melbourne v Sydney Swans
Australian Sports Museum
The Australian Sports Museum is open event days before the bounce for all ticket holders.
Located at Gate 3 inside the MCG, the Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.
For this match, the Museum is open from 10.00pm-1.00pm.
Please note: MCG Tours only operate on select event days.

Metro Trains Disruptions
Buses replace trains on sections of the Hurstbridge, Belgrave, Lilydale and Frankston lines at various times on Sunday April 2.
- Passengers should allow extra time when travelling to and from the MCG.
- Please be aware after the game there may be increased congestion and delays getting onto the platforms at Richmond and Jolimont stations.
- Passengers are advised to return to where they got off the bus prior.
