    OVERSEAS MEMBERS
    Members who have been placed on the Overseas membership list do not automatically have entry rights during the AFL season. Entry to the Club’s facilities will be granted on a return visit as long as it does not exceed six weeks on submission of an itinerary showing the member’s arrival to and departure from Australia.

    Reserved seat and visitor tickets for this match will go on sale to members from 10.00am AEST on Tuesday June 20 via Ticketek.

    KIDS GO FREE
    For Rounds 16-19 of the 2023 AFL Premiership Season, kids can access the MCC Reserve for free!

    General Admission/ unreserved seating child tickets (age 6-14) will be able to be booked free-of-charge for these matches via Ticketek. Children 5 and under can also access free-of-charge General Admission tickets.

    Please note: a ticket charge will still apply to purchase a child reserved seat ticket.

    There will also be a range of fun activities for kids around the Members' Reserve for Rounds 16-18 inside Tower 6, including
    • Face painting
    • A popcorn machine ($3.00 per bag)
    • Pizza Deals
    • A visit from the playing teams' mascot before the bounce
    • Giveaways, food vouchers and Australian Sports Museum passes
    • Plus heaps more

    DINING AVAILABLE FOR PRE-BOOKING
    For this match, dining reservations are available in the Members’ Dining Room, Jim Stynes Grill and Lucy Liu Lounge.  

    The registration period for this event will open at 9.00am AEST on Monday June 13 and close at 5.00pm on the following day.

    ADDITIONAL DINING OPTIONS
    MCC members and their guests can access a range of additional dining facilities in the MCC Members’ Reserve on match days at the MCG with no booking required.

    LONG ROOM AND BALCONY PASSES
    The registration period for Long Room and Balcony Passes for this event will open at 9.00am AEST on Monday June 19 and close at 5.00pm on the following Tuesday or until all passes are exhausted.

    Walk up passes can be collected (on a first come, first serve basis) from the last two Membership Services windows to the far left outside of Gate 2 on match day.

    Getting to the ‘G

    To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.

    If you have reserved a seat, download your seat ticket prior to your arrival. To gain entry into the match, scan your physical or digital membership card at the turnstiles.

    PARKING IN YARRA PARK
    General public parking is not available for this match. Parking is available to disability and accredited permit holders only.

    TRAIN AND ROAD DISRUPTIONS
    Metro Trains
    Buses replace trains on sections of the following train lines: 
    • Craigieburn line
    • Upfield line
    • Sunbury line
    • Werribee line

    • Cranbourne line
    • Pakenham line
    • Frankston line
    • Stony Point line

    Passengers on these lines should allow extra time when travelling to and from the MCG. When catching a return bus post-match, passengers should return to where got off the bus pre-match.

    Major Road Closures
    • Dynon Road will be closed between CityLink exit ramp and Dryburgh Street.
    • Geelong Road will be closed to the Princes Freeway outbound entry ramp. 

    PRECINCT ROAD CLOSURES
    Throughout the match, roads in close proximity to the MCG may be closed for periods of time.
    • Brunton Avenue: closed from 6.00pm until 7.25pm and 9.55pm until 10.55pm
    • Wellington Parade: closed from 9.55pm until 10.24pm

    At the ‘G

    • The MCG is a cashless venue. All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets will be cashless – so all transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.
    • The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction.
    • At the MCG, your safety is our priority. If you experience any form of antisocial behaviour, please report it by texting 'Assist' to the MCG's antisocial text hotline on +61 409 117 621.

    FLASHING LIGHT WARNING
    Please note, flashing lights will be used throughout this match at the MCG.

    INDUSTRY BEANS COMPETITION
    Industry Beans are offering footy fans the chance to win an Espresso Club membership every week during Rounds 12-17, which includes a De'Longhi Espresso Machine and a year's supply of coffee beans.

    AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUM
    The Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 15 minutes before the match start time.

    Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.

    Be sure to arrive early to make the most of your visit.

    MCC MUSEUM AND MCC LIBRARY
    The MCC Library and MCC Museum are open to members and their guests on match days at the MCG.

    The MCC Library is located on Level 3 of the Members’ Reserve, whilst the MCC Museum, is located on Level B1.

    Accessibility

    The 'G TRAIN MOBILITY SHUTTLE SERVICE
    The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.

    The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.

    Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
    • Richmond Station
    • Jolimont Station
    • Accessible Parking Area

    SENSORY FRIENDLY SPACE
    A Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.

    There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidget toys to relax in a multi-purpose room.
