Boxing Day Test - Day 5 arrangements for members
Tickets
MCC members of all categories can access Day 5 of the Boxing Day Test by scanning their membership card at the Gate 2 turnstiles.
Members of all categories can purchase up to four visitor tickets for Day 5. Waiting List candidates can purchase up to three visitors tickets.
There will be no reserved seat tickets available for Day 5, however seat ticket distribution will occur on Levels 2 and 3.

Visitor tickets are available from 6.30pm AEDT Sunday December 29, 2024 via
Ticketek.
All proceeds from Day 5 ticket sales will support pathways for cricket volunteers, cricketers living with a disability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants.

Match Day Dining, Long Room and Balcony Passes
DINING AVAILABLE
For Day 5 of the Test dining will be available on a walk-up basis in the Members’ Dining Room, Jim Stynes Grill, Long Room and Trumble Café & Bar.
CULTURAL FOOD OFFERINGS
MCG food outlets will feature a range of additional cultural food offerings throughout the 2024/25 summer of cricket including a cheese and spinach roll, samosas with mint chutney, a chicken tikka burger, tandoori chicken baguette and more.

LONG ROOM AND BALCONY PASSES
Members of all categories can obtain up to four Balcony Passes for their visitor. Balcony passes are required for guests to be able to access seating on Level 2 & 3.
Long Room Passes are required for guests to access the Long Room. Members of all categories can obtain up to two Long Room passes.
Passes will be available from the Passes Windows to the left of Gate 2.
To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.

PARKING IN YARRA PARK
General public parking is available for this match.
Parking costs $10, payable via EFTPOS upon arrival.
Parking for disability permit holders can be pre-booked via Ticketek
here.
PRECINCT ROAD CLOSURES
Brunton Avenue will be closed at the following times:
- 12:00am-7:30am (partial closure)
- 7:30am-10:30am (full closure)
- 10:30am-5:30pm (partial closure)
- 5:30pm-7:00pm (full closure)
- 7:00pm-23:59pm (partial closure)
- You will be required to enter via the gate listed on your ticket.
- The MCG is a cashless venue. All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets will be cashless – so all transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.
- The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction.
- At the MCG, your safety is our priority. If you experience any form of antisocial behaviour, please report it by texting 'Assist' to the MCG's antisocial text hotline on +61 409 117 621.
DRESS STANDARDS UPDATE
Jackets may be removed in the Members' Dining Room, Long Room and John Landy Room during the cricket season.
FLASHING LIGHTS AND PYROTECHNICS WARNING
Please note, flashing lights and pyrotechnics will be used throughout this match at the MCG.

Pram cloaking for the 2024 Boxing Day Test
To maintain a clear concourse and safe aisles, prams and strollers are not permitted inside the stadium for this event.
Prams can be stored external to the stadium at a dedicated cloaking area outside Gate 3A on Day 5 of the Test.
It is free to cloak a pram and the cloaking areas will be staffed from 10:45am – 6:30pm (or 30 mins after the last ball).
MULTI-FAITH PRAYER ROOM
The MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open to all patrons and located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (approximately behind bay M13).

The G’ TRAIN MOBILITY SHUTTLE SERVICE
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUM
The
Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 5:00pm.
Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.
SENSORY FRIENDLY SPACE
A Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.
There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidget toys to relax in a multi-purpose room.
The Sensory Friendly Space is open from 10:30am-6:00pm on this day.
