The Melbourne Cricket Club invites members and guests to enjoy the festive season in the Members’ Reserve!
Throughout November and December, the Club is pleased to provide you with a number of opportunities to celebrate the holiday season as some of your favourite member experiences return to the Reserve.
Members will once again be able to bring their loved ones to the ‘G for a memorable photo with Santa, set in front of the spectacular backdrop of the MCG arena.
In 2025, these sessions will take place between 9am and 12pm on November 29 and 30, and December 6 and 7.
The Club will host a Relaxed Santa session on Saturday November 29 between 11am and 12pm. This hour will provide those with sensory sensitivities and other processing differences the opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa in a more relaxed, less stimulating environment.
Members can now bring the WHOLE family (pets included!) to the Reserve on Sunday November 30 when we host a special Santa Paws session.
If you’re looking to wow your family and friends this Christmas, join us for our Christmas Cooking Masterclass on Sunday December 7.
Delaware North’s head pastry chef and chocolatier, Ryan Stevenson, will run an interactive, hands-on experience in the MCG’s biggest kitchen where you will learn to create your own Christmas gingerbread house. Canapes and a beverage package are also included.
On Christmas Day, leave the cooking and festive season duties to us while you enjoy all of the traditional trimmings with your family. The Club’s much-loved Christmas Day luncheons will once again take place in the Members’ Dining Room and Committee Room by Grossi.
After the Christmas leftovers have been eaten and the Boxing Day Test is complete, close out the year in style at our New Year’s Eve at the ‘G function.
Enjoy a night to remember with arrival drinks in the Percy Beames Bar, followed by a two-course meal in the Long Room. Then dance the night away on the David Neitz Terrace with spectacular city views for the New Year’s Eve fireworks.
