Seating on Levels 2 & 3, Long Room and Balcony Passes

    Unreserved Balcony Seating
Unreserved seating on Levels 2 and 3 will be available for members as well as visitors with Long Room or Balcony passes on a first-in first-served basis in accordance with the match category conditions.

Once an unreserved seat has been chosen on Levels 2 and 3, those in attendance will be issued with a reserved seat ticket.

A Long Room or Balcony pass will be required for guests wishing to access unreserved seating on Levels 2 and 3 (subject to match category conditions) unless otherwise advised.

    Reserved Balcony Seating
Members booking reserved seats on Level 2 will be limited to the same number of visitor tickets that apply for Balcony passes. Please note that visitors with a Level 2 reserved seat do not require a Long Room or Balcony pass to access their seats, however, a Long Room pass (subject to availability) will be required for visitors wishing to access the Long Room.

    Long Room
The Long Room is only available to eligible members in line with match category conditions as well as visitors with a Long Room pass. Members and visitors must be aged 18 and over to access the Long Room.

A Long Room pass provides a visitor with access to the Long Room and unreserved seating on Levels 2 and 3 of the Members’ Reserve. Dress standards apply. Find out more at mcc.org.au/longroom.

Long Room and Balcony Pass Conditions
Members can apply for Long Room or Balcony passes depending on the match category, subject to availability. Applications for Long Room and Balcony passes can be made in line with the application periods listed on each event page, or until passes are exhausted.

Applications will be processed in order of receipt and accepted online via the event page.

All available passes not allocated in advance will be available for collection on match day from the passes window on the left-hand side of Gate 2.

Balcony passes will not be required for visitors to access Level 2 and 3 seating for Big Bash League and Sheffield Shield matches.

Please note: Long Room and Balcony passes are not a match ticket. Visitors still require a pre-purchased reserved seat or general admission visitor ticket to access the match.

    Alcohol-Free Sections

Alcohol-free sections have been allocated both in the reserved and unreserved seating areas within the Members’ Reserve for the 2025/26 cricket season.

    The alcohol-free seating areas are:

Membership cards are for personal use only and are strictly non-transferrable under any circumstances. It is the members’ responsibility to ensure their card and their barcode is secure at all times.

Misuse of membership cards and member upgrade tickets may result in suspension or expulsion of a member.

Random checks of photo ID membership and digital membership cards will be undertaken at the turnstiles and throughout the Members’ Reserve during the cricket season.

When purchasing a ticket during the cricket season, please ensure that you purchase the correct ticket type for you and your guests based on age.
