TIPPING OUR HAT TO WARNIECricket Australia and the Shane Warne Legacy have united to increase awareness around heart health, with the introduction of Shane Warne Legacy Heart Tests, provided by SiSU Health, at this year’s Boxing Day Test from days one to four.
The tests will be available at the following locations:
- Outside Gate 3A
- Outside Gate 3B
- Outside Gate 1B
- Inside Gate 3 (behind the escalator)
- Inside Gate 1
- In the Betty Cuthbert Lounge (Olympic Stand, Level 2)
- Ron Casey Media Centre
Fans are also encouraged to wear a floppy hat, paying homage to the look made iconic by Warne, as well as tipping their hat at 3.50pm each day – a nod to the Spin King’s Test cap number.

Registrations for the Members' Dining Room and Jim Stynes Grill dining ballot for the Boxing Day Test will open at 9.00am on Monday December 11 and close at 5.00pm on Tuesday December 12.
If registrations exceed room capacity, a ballot will be conducted and all registered members will be notified of the outcome.
Members and visitors who secure dining in the Members' Dining Room will also access a Level 2 reserved seat as part of their booking. To gain entry, members will scan in with their membership card and visitors are able to obtain a general admission visitors ticket.
LONG ROOM AND BALCONY PASSESApplications for Balcony and Long Room passes for Day 2 will open at 9.00am on Monday December 11. Applications can be made above, and will be open for up to eight days, or until passes are exhausted.
All available passes not allocated in advance will be available for collection on match day from the passes window on the left hand side of Gate 2.
To ensure you are inside the Ground in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.

PRECINCT ROAD CLOSURES- Brunton Avenue: 9.00am - 11.00am, and 5.30pm - 6.30pm
ROAD DISRUPTIONSAnnual maintenance works will occur on the West Gate Bridge from 9.00am Tuesday December 26 to Wednesday January 4.
Significant delays of up to 30 minutes are expected, with only two citybound lanes open during this period. All outbound lanes on the bridge will remain open.
We encourage patrons to take public transport to avoid these disruptions.
- The MCG is a cashless venue. All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets will be cashless – so all transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.
- The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction.
- At the MCG, your safety is our priority. If you experience any form of antisocial behaviour, please report it by texting 'Assist' to the MCG's antisocial text hotline on +61 409 117 621.

MCC MUSEUM AND MCC LIBRARYThe MCC Library and MCC Museum are open to members and their guests on match days at the MCG.
The MCC Library is located on Level 3 of the Members’ Reserve, whilst the MCC Museum, is located on Level B1.
AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUMThe
Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 15 minutes before the match start time.
Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.

The G’ TRAIN MOBILITY SHUTTLE SERVICEThe G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:

SENSORY FRIENDLY SPACEA Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.
There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidget toys to relax in a multi-purpose room.
