Visitor tickets for Day 1 of the 2024 Boxing Day Test between Australia and India have now sold out. No additional visitor tickets will be available for this day. Reserved seats are still available for Full and Restricted members and Annual Guest Card holders via Ticketek.
Seat tickets will be distributed in unreserved seating areas on Levels 2 and 3.

PRECINCT ROAD CLOSURES
Brunton Avenue will be closed at the following times:
- 12:00am-7:30am (partial closure)
- 7:30am-7:30pm (full closure)
- 7:30pm-23:59pm (partial closure)
Jolimont Street & Terrace will be closed between 6:00am-7:30pm
Vale Street will be closed between 6:00am-7:30pm
Wellington Parade will be closed between 6:00pm-7:00pm
V/LINE TRANSPORT ALERT
Due to the forecast hot temperatures across Victoria on Thursday, 26 December, extreme heat timetables will be in place for all lines on the V/Line network to ensure train services run safely.
Passengers are advised to plan ahead and check the V/Line website before travelling for the extreme heat timetables and any changes to their services, and please allow extra travel time.
Passengers may wish to consider travelling in the cooler parts of the day.

- You will be required to enter via the gate listed on your ticket.
- The MCG is a cashless venue. All food, beverage, merchandise and ticketing outlets will be cashless – so all transactions will need to be made on your debit or credit card.
- The MCG is a smoke, e-cigarette and vape free venue. Patrons found smoking or vaping inside the Ground will face immediate eviction.

Please note, flashing lights and pyrotechnics will be used throughout this match at the MCG.

Pram Cloaking
To maintain a clear concourse and safe aisles, prams and strollers are not permitted inside the stadium for this event.
Prams can be stored external to the stadium at dedicated cloaking areas outside Gate 1A and Gate 3A.
Gate 1A is closest to Gate 1, 6 and 7.
Gate 3A is closest to Gate 2, 3, 4 and 5.
It is free to cloak a pram and the cloaking areas will be staffed from 8:30am – 6:30pm each day (or 30 mins after the last ball).
MULTI-FAITH PRAYER ROOM
The MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open to all patrons and located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (approximately behind bay M13).

The G’ TRAIN MOBILITY SHUTTLE SERVICE
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges. The G-Train also features vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUM
The
Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 5:00pm.
Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.
SENSORY FRIENDLY SPACE
A Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.
There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidget toys to relax in a multi-purpose room.
The Sensory Friendly Space is open from 10:30am-6:00pm on this day.
